U172U Helmet Mic Extension Cable with Strain Relief

Designed for helicopter helmets where the microphone lead is routed inside the shell, the U172/U female jack brings that internal mic line out to an accessible connection point. Using the U172/U helmet mic extension cable solves the problem of short, hard-to-connect internal microphone leads, making helicopter connections simple and reliable.

One end terminates in bare wires for splicing to the helmet’s mic lead; the other provides a U172/U female socket with integrated strain relief (27 × 13.3 × 8 mm). Pair with a U173S male plug for quick disconnects, easier maintenance, and reduced cable stress during operations.
